The first round of elections of the new president of the country yesterday took place in parliament of Estonia. The deputy of parliament of Estonia yesterday has informed on it from the Party of reforms Sergey Ivanov. Thus, if nominee Ильвеса will not receive support, the president will be chosen with an electoral college.
In turn "centrists" and the National union have signed the contract about support on presidential elections operating heads of the state Arnolda Rjujtelja. Itself Рюйтель earlier declared, that can consider an opportunity of participation in elections only in the event that the parliament will not choose the president and it will be chosen with an electoral college (where representatives of local self-managements enter also). In opinion of representatives of the Party of reforms, "centrists" count that Рюйтель can get support at an electoral college, not having chances of reception of the majority at voting in parliament.
